Meetings & Dinner Nights
Our Broken Hearts of Florida chapters get together for food, fun and fellowship. For more information about meetings in your area, email us at info@brokenheartsflorida.org.
Broken Hearts of the Big Bend in Tallahassee meets every month on the second Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 2198 N. Meridian Road, Tallahassee, FL 32303. Join us at our next dinner for good food and great fellowship. Feel free to bring a dish to share, or, just join us. Sometimes it feels awkward coming to your first dinner, so please also feel free to bring your child(ren), spouse, partner, significant other, friend, or your whole family.

May Day Picnic
Broken Hearts and its Central Florida chapter host a huge picnic in mid-May of each year in Gainesville, Florida. Kids, parents, friends, along with physicians, nurses and staff of the University of Florida Congenital Heart Center, hang out and have fun at Lake Wauberg. It's a wonderful opportunity for our families and their heart-care specialists to get together in a nonclinical setting and have fun on boat rides, playing tag football, throwing a frisbee and chilling by the lake. For more information, email us.  Photos from our picnics: At our first picnic in 2010, Mallika Malhotra (mikifoto) shot photos of our beautiful children.

Forum on Congenital Heart Disease
About every other year, Broken Hearts hosts a Regional Forum on Congenital Heart Disease, connecting families affected by CHD with expert medical, social and family resources. Most importantly, it connects families with each other. For more information about our next Regional Forum, e-mail Broken Hearts of Florida.
